Zuckerberg put paid to the rumour that Facebook
was building its own phone when he spoke at the TechCrunch Disrupt
conference in San Francisco.
There had been intense speculation that Facebook was planning to release a
phone as early as next year.
But Zuckerberg said that building a Facebook phone would not attract a
considerable enough number of users to make the venture worthwhile.
Ben Evans an analyst with Enders said that a Facebook phone would be a
disaster for the company.
